Our Team

Edith Ohri

Edith is a R&D data mining specialist and one of the firsts in the field. Starting before Data Mining had been coined, and developing it from practice to full concept and algorithm, Edith has worked upstream to build a new robust solution that can by itself find the hierarchical order of data clusters. Her algorithm GT Data Mining (GT) is unique in its power to conclude about the content & drivers of data in relevance to a vague target.

Edith began her career as an Industrial & Management Engineer in Israel and the NY USA, later on joined a consultancy firm Kesselman & Kesselman Management Services; in 1995 initiated a R&D project on Procedure (Quality) Diagnostics – sponsored by The Chief Scientist of Trade & Commerce Israel; in 2002 launched the GT data mining analytics project at SMU Singapore and since 2003 is dedicated to its further development and application.
Edith is a BSc graduate of the Technion Haifa Israel and a MSc of the NY Polytechnic. She has enrolled recently in the Founder Institute entrepreneurs program.
Edith is active in the management of the Industrial & Management group in the Engineers Association of Israel. She is a manager of 2 data mining Israeli forums and a member of international forums on analytics related subjects.

Dr. Ben-Zion (Benzi) Rubinfeld

Dr. Rubinfeld began his education with a B.Sc. in Agriculture, naturally enough for a kibbutznik who developed and managed date and mango orchards in Kibbutz Grofit, a few kilometers north of Eilat. He later moved
into the field of genetics for his M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees, all obtained from the Hebrew University. He was twice awarded the Eshkol Foundation prize for academic excellence. In 2006 he received a Master degree in
Business Administration, Entrepreneurship and Innovation Management, from Swinburne University of Technology, Sydney, Australia Since 1994, Dr. Rubinfeld has been directly involved with the business world, as Business Development and Technology Transfer Officer of Ramot, the Tel-Aviv University organization responsible for transforming academic developments into profitable business ventures. This position
has enabled him to acquire valuable hands-on experience on all aspects of establishing start-up companies: negotiating contracts, preparing business plans, raising funding, and so on.

In the past few years he has further extended his business activities as
Managing Director of Rubicon Pharmaceuticals, Founder and Managing
Director of SolarGen Ltd., and a CEO of Mitam Biological Control Ltd.

Avishai Schur

Avishai Schur is a twenty year veteran in the field of machine engineering and maintenance of advanced equipment in the semiconductor and printing industries. During his career, Avishai held several key positions such as Equipment Engineering  and Maintenance Manager at Vishay’s Optofab in Yokneam (Israel),  Technical Support Manager at Nova Measuring Instrument - Europe, and other roles in leading companies such as Intel, Tower Semiconductor and Indigo (now HP). In these roles Avishai lead the implementation and integration of highly advanced technologies into manufacturing lines, took part in product development and technician training and qualification.

Avishai also participates in educational projects and provides coaching for B.Sc. students in final projects for mechanical engineering.

Avishai holds a B.Sc. in Agricultural Machinery and a Physics Educator Certificate form the Technion (Israel Institute of technology), and a Masters in Entrepreneurship and Innovation from Swinburne University (Melbourne - Australia).
